Challenge
Both employees and clients of Haas and BarthHaas, a global hops company with stakeholders in the US, Europe, Australia, and China, plus a true passion for both hops and innovation, aimed to create unique and exciting experiences for beer lovers by leveraging Haas and BarthHaas expertise and technology.
The goal of this Customer Experience (CX) design challenge was to re-focus the team on the people that they are innovating solutions for: beer lovers worldwide.
Approach
The reshift team designed an entirely virtual workshop run over four-half-days to help Haas and BarthHaas increase their creative capabilities and iterate CX solutions.
The Haas and BarthHaas participants sought to include their clients and customers in this co-creation workshop in order to best integrate customer feedback into their design challenge solutions. So a small number of participants were Haas and BarthHaas customers. More customers were interviewed to gather additional human-centric data.
Outcome
Haas and BarthHaas was able to develop a deeper, richer understanding of its clients and their needs.
At the project's completion, participants had iterated several viable CX solutions and a wealth of knowledge from their customers.
While we were unable to meet in person and share a beer after sessions, this course strengthened relationships and inspired creativity across continents and business units.
